Visit St Nicholas Church
St Nicholas Church was built in central Vaŭkavysk in 1874. Its architecture combines late Neoclassicism with Russian Revival details: a large onion dome crowns the main volume, while a smaller dome rises above the entrance bell tower. The building passed through different uses in the first half of the 20th century and is now once again an active Orthodox parish.
Walk around the exterior to see its staggered volumes and decorated window surrounds, then enter when the doors are open. Keep quiet during services and do not photograph people without permission. Ask the parish for the current timetable.
