Visit the Church of St Tikhon
The Church of St Tikhon, Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus', was consecrated on 9 October 1997, with regular services beginning by Easter 2000. Its light-coloured walls, broad curved gables, round drum and green roof stand among pine trees and differ markedly from Vileyka's older central churches.
Walk around the exterior to see the asymmetrical entrance and tall main volume, then enter when the doors are open. This is an active parish: keep quiet, do not photograph people without permission and avoid disrupting services. Check the parish page for the current timetable.
