Visit the Transfiguration Cathedral

The Transfiguration parish was registered in Svietlahorsk in 1995, and construction of the present cathedral continued from 1998 to 2006. The white-brick building follows a cross-domed plan: a tall central volume is surrounded by smaller domes, while arched facade endings strengthen its vertical silhouette.

Walk around the exterior first to see the composition from different angles, then enter if the doors are open. This is an active church: keep quiet, do not photograph worshippers without permission and avoid disturbing services. Check the current service timetable through the Svietlahorsk deanery.
