Take a trip to the Salihorsk Reservoir

The Salihorsk Reservoir was created on the Sluč River and became part of the landscape of this young industrial city. The shore opens onto a broad expanse of water, while the distant horizon carries the distinctive spoil heaps of the potash industry. It is a good destination for a quiet waterside walk at the centre of a short independent trip.

Choose a public section of shoreline or Nabiarežnaja Street and stay on existing paths. Do not approach industrial facilities or climb the spoil heaps: these are restricted and dangerous areas. Check current municipal notices separately before relying on any particular beach or swimming conditions.
