Visit the Sluck Local History Museum
The Sluck Local History Museum has occupied the former noble assembly building since 1952. Built around the turn of the 19th century, it now brings together archaeological finds, documents and objects from urban and rural life to explain the history of one of Belarus's oldest towns. The Neoclassical building and its columned portico are part of the visit in their own right.
Do not confuse this museum with the separate Museum of Sluck Sashes: the venues have different addresses and exhibitions. Before visiting, check the opening hours for the local history museum itself, which permanent rooms are open and whether a general guided tour is available.
