Visit St Francis Church
St Francis Church serves Salihorsk's Catholic parish. Built in the post-Soviet period, it is easy to recognise by its asymmetrical composition, pale facades and tall tower with a steep curved roof and narrow vertical opening. The design looks quite unlike both historic Belarusian Catholic churches and the city's Orthodox buildings.
Walk around the exterior first to understand the tower's form and the church's place within the residential district. Enter only when the doors are open, do not disturb Mass and follow parish rules. Check service times and the possibility of a quiet visit in advance.
