Visit the Kozell-Poklevsky Manor
The palace at Krasny Bierah was built in 1890–1893 for the Gatovsky and Kozell-Poklevsky families to a design by architect Viktor Schröter. Red brick, pale decorative stonework, turrets, mansard roofs and several historical styles meet in its unusual exterior. The palace, service wing, outbuildings and landscape park form a late-19th-century estate ensemble.
The palace now houses a museum estate whose route explores the restored rooms, former owners, architecture and history of the complex. Walk around every side of the building and through the park after seeing the exhibition. Check opening hours, last admission and whether a guided tour must be booked before travelling.
