Visit the Yolshin Family Chapel-Tomb

Часовня-усыпальница Иолшиных

The Yolshin family chapel-tomb stands deep inside Rahačoŭ's old cemetery. Built around the turn of the 20th century, it takes the form of a compact four-sided tower with a tented roof. Red-brick facades are articulated by stepped recesses, horizontal bands and pointed decorative arches.

This is a cemetery memorial rather than an open museum. View the chapel only from outside, do not try to enter the closed crypt and keep off graves. Other family chapels also survive in the old cemetery, so walk quietly and avoid staged photography.
