Visit Alexander Nevsky Church
The present Alexander Nevsky Church stands on Vilis Tsimmerman Street and serves an active Orthodox parish. Its painted timber walls, elongated windows, small onion domes and tall bell tower define the building's distinctive silhouette. This is a modern church and should not be confused with Rahačoŭ's lost pre-revolutionary cathedral.
Begin with an exterior view from the street and note the contrast between the white details and blue wall surfaces. Enter only when the doors are open, follow parish rules and do not disturb a service. Check the parish website for the current worship schedule before visiting.
