Walk along Lake Pastavy

Lake Pastavy lies within the town and offers an unusual panorama of its two principal churches. The white Orthodox Church of St Nicholas and the red-brick Catholic Church of St Anthony stand on different sections of the shore and are reflected in the water.

Follow the accessible paths along the bank and pause at several viewpoints over the historic centre. The route fits naturally between the churches and the old Market Square; unpaved sections beside the water can be muddy after rain.
