See the Katyusha Memorial
The memorial recalls the combat use of a BM-13 battery commanded by Captain Ivan Flyorov near Orsha on 14 July 1941. It opened in 1966 for the event's 25th anniversary. A rocket launcher stands at the centre, surrounded by concrete launch rails that evoke the movement of a salvo.
View the composition from several sides, then walk towards the Dnieper bank; the open setting helps communicate the memorial's scale. This is an outdoor city landmark and does not require an admission ticket.
