Visit the Museum of Military Glory in Polatsk

The Museum of Military Glory opened in Polatsk in 1971 and is now part of the city's historical and cultural museum reserve. Its five galleries cover the occupation regime, underground and partisan activity, local Heroes of the Soviet Union and the liberation of the city in the summer of 1944.

Artillery pieces are displayed beside the museum, allowing the visit to continue outdoors. Check opening hours before making the trip, as smaller branches of the museum reserve often have their own closing days and seasonal schedules.
