Visit Peter the Great's House

The single-storey building known as Peter the Great's House in Polatsk was built in 1692 and is traditionally identified as his lodging during a 1705 stay in the city. It now contains the permanent exhibition A Walk along Lower Pakrouskaya Street.

The displays recreate the street in 1910 through a mayor's office, girls' school, bank, shop, tearoom and pharmacy. Check opening hours before making the trip and do not stop at the facade: the museum interiors are the main point of this idea.
