Visit the Zhukowski Estate in Dashkawka
The Zhukowski estate in Dashkawka has been known since the early 19th century. During the fighting near Saltanovka in July 1812, the house served as a field hospital for Russian soldiers. Fragments of the old landscape park, a pond and open views over the Dnieper floodplain remain around it.
This is not a museum estate with a permanent exhibition, so plan the trip for an exterior view of the house and a walk through the accessible parts of the park. Respect fences, signs for organisations using the site and closed areas; do not assume that the building itself is open.
