Visit the Church of Saint Paraskeva Pyatnitsa

Свята-Параскева-Пятніцкая царква, Лепель

The wooden Church of Saint Paraskeva Pyatnitsa was built in 1868. Local tradition says that it was raised in a single day as a vow during a cholera epidemic. Its form is distinguished by an elongated main volume, a small bell tower over the entrance section and a separate tented roof above the sanctuary.

The historic building belongs to an active parish, but access and restoration work may change. Confirm that the church is open before visiting, keep quiet on the grounds and do not assume that interior photography is permitted.
