See the Former Women's Gymnasium
The two-storey building is associated with the former Lateran Canons monastery and later served as a women's gymnasium. From September to November 1917, participants in the Kornilov affair, including Lavr Kornilov and Anton Denikin, were held here in an episode known as the Bykhaw imprisonment.
View the building from the street as part of a walk through old Bykhaw; no permanent visitor exhibition inside has been confirmed. Look for the commemorative plaque on the façade and avoid disrupting the institution that occupies the building.
