Visit the Museum of Rescued Art Treasures
The museum has operated since 1989 as a branch of the regional local history museum. Its galleries display sixteenth- to nineteenth-century icons, Russian and Western European paintings, porcelain, furniture, silverwork and other objects transferred by Brest customs and border officers.
The collection occupies a preserved early-twentieth-century manor-style house. Allow sixty to ninety minutes, and check the branch's opening hours on the regional museum's official website before visiting.
