Visit the Museum of Brest City History

The museum opened in 1998 in a small historic house on Lievianieŭski Street. Its permanent display follows medieval Berestye, the construction of the fortress and relocation of the city, the development of Brest-Litovsk and interwar Brest.

This compact museum fits naturally before a walk through the historic centre. Take a guided tour or allow about an hour for a careful visit, and confirm current opening hours beforehand.
