See the Ruins of the White Palace
The White Palace developed from a former Basilian monastery building and served as the military assembly hall of Brest Fortress in the nineteenth century. Negotiations took place here, and the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk was signed on 3 March 1918. The building was not reconstructed after the Second World War; its ruins were conserved when the memorial was created.
The ruins stand in the Citadel opposite the Defence Museum and are viewed from outside. It is a short but meaningful stop on a wider fortress route. Stay behind barriers and do not climb on the masonry.
