Visit Holy Trinity Cathedral
Zhlobin's first stone Holy Trinity church had served the town since 1886, but it was destroyed during fighting in 1941. The foundation stone of the present cathedral was laid on 2 November 1992, and the new church was consecrated on 21 October 1995. It is therefore a modern home for the revived parish, not a surviving nineteenth-century building.
The cathedral is active and services are held daily. View the composition with its two golden domes and enter only when the doors are open. The current schedule is published by the Zhlobin deanery at pravzhlobin.by; avoid disturbing worshippers during services.
