Visit Kreva Castle

Кревский замок

Kreva Castle was built in the fourteenth century as one of the first fully stone fortresses in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Duke Kęstutis died here in 1382, and the Act of Kreva was agreed in 1385, reshaping the histories of Lithuania and Poland.

The first restoration stage finished in autumn 2025, but work and planning for a future museum continue. Follow the permitted route around the walls and do not assume that every tower is open; check current access restrictions before travelling.
