Visit the Turoŭlia castle site
Turoŭlia Fortress was built in 1563 on the right bank of the Turoŭlianka near its confluence with the Western Dvina. The timber fort had a quadrangular plan and five towers, but only parts of the castle site and traces of its earthworks survive.
This trip is for visitors interested in field archaeology: there are no reconstructed towers, museum or conventional tourist facilities. Save the location offline, wear closed footwear and avoid damaging the banks or archaeological layer.
