Visit the beach at Lake Ropna

Lake Ropna stretches for almost a kilometre between the villages of Ropna and Kaliektyŭnaja. It is shallow, reaching 3.4 metres, and drains towards the Western Dvina; an equipped waterside recreation area operates by Ropna village.

Come on a warm day for the beach and a short break rather than a major nature route. Check the current bathing status and water-quality notices before travelling, as sanitary restrictions can change during the season.
