Ride the Argo cable car for a wide view of Batumi

Argo climbs from the port district to Anuria Mountain. The upper station shows not one landmark but the structure of Batumi as a whole: the harbour, old quarters, long coastline, and hills behind the city. Go when the horizon is clear, as sea haze can erase most of the panorama.

The lower station is at 1 Bako Street, a 10–15 minute walk from Piazza and 15–20 minutes from Europe Square. Allow about 1.5–2 hours for the ride, time at the top, and descent; queues can form before sunset. To see the city in both daylight and evening lights, board roughly an hour before sunset. Strong wind or maintenance may temporarily stop the cable car.
