Visit the Cathedral of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Luninyets

The Cathedral of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross was built in 1912–1921 on the site of an earlier wooden church. It holds early printed Gospels, royal doors and a collection of eighteenth- and nineteenth-century icons, including works transferred from closed rural churches.

This is an active cathedral, so view the interior quietly and avoid disturbing services. Dress respectfully, silence your phone and ask before taking photographs.
