Climb to St Nicholas Church on Castle Hill

St Nicholas Church occupies Castle Hill, the site of Krychaw's old fortified centre. The previous church burned in 1944; the present wooden building was assembled soon after the war and consecrated in 1945.

Come for the combination of modest wooden architecture, the history of the settlement and views over the surroundings. This is an active church, so visit respectfully and do not assume that tourist photography is permitted inside.
