Step inside the Church of the Resurrection in central Krychaw

The present Church of the Resurrection was built with donations from local residents around 1880. During the Soviet period it served as a cultural centre and cinema; in the early 1990s the building returned to the Orthodox community and restoration began.

The church stands on the central square and fits easily into a walking route through Krychaw. It is an active place of worship: dress respectfully, avoid disturbing services and ask before photographing the interior.
