Stop at Kobryn's 1812 victory monument
The monument commemorates the July 1812 Battle of Kobryn, one of the Russian army's first major victories in that campaign. It was founded for the event's centenary, and its design and inscriptions reflect the language of early twentieth-century military remembrance.
Allow 10–15 minutes. The monument fits naturally into a route with St Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and Kobryn's historic centre.
