Visit St Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Kobryn
St Alexander Nevsky Cathedral was built in the second half of the nineteenth century as a memorial church near the burial place of soldiers killed in the 1812 Battle of Kobryn. Its pale main volume, tented bell tower and domes define the silhouette.
The cathedral is active. View it from the public grounds and enter quietly, avoiding a service if your sole purpose is sightseeing. Ask before taking photographs.
