Old Batumi street-art route

Old Batumi street-art route

Batumi has no fixed open-air mural gallery: works appear and disappear, so it is more rewarding to read the whole visual layer of the city than follow a checklist of walls. Start at Europe Square and use the side streets around Memed Abashidze to reach Piazza. Then continue through the Mazniashvili and Gogebashvili quarters toward the port.

Here, large end-wall paintings sit beside small stencils, Soviet mosaics, old shop-sign lettering, and carved balconies. The walk takes 1.5–2 hours and ends at the Sea Port or Miracle Park. Treat it as a route through a changing visual environment; if a known mural has been painted over, the route still works.
