Watch sunset along Old Batumi Boulevard

Start at the Batumi Colonnades 40–50 minutes before sunset and follow the sea north toward the lighthouse, Ferris wheel, and Miracle Park. High-rises do not block most of this horizon, and after sunset the route ends naturally at the illuminated Ali and Nino sculpture. The walk takes about 1–1.5 hours.

The Colonnades are a 10–15 minute walk from Europe Square. From the finish, Piazza is roughly the same distance, so separate transport is usually unnecessary. Departure time matters more than the exact viewing point: a low band of cloud over the sea often hides the sun before the published sunset time. If the whole horizon is heavily overcast, save the route for another evening rather than waiting for dramatic light.
