Take a day trip from Hrodna to Lida Castle

Lida Castle clearly demonstrates the stone-fortress model of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania: a rectangular courtyard, two corner towers and massive walls. Climb the towers and visit the exhibition, then continue to the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross and the older central streets.

Lida is about 110 km from Hrodna and is reachable by train, bus or car. Museum admission is charged, and courtyard events can alter access. Reserve a full day including transport.
