Travel from Hrodna to Dambroŭka Lock on the Augustów Canal

Dambroŭka is a practical place to understand how the Augustów Canal works: the lock chamber, gates and change in water level are clearly visible, while forest paths follow the canal. In summer, add a boat trip, bicycle or kayak, but reserve those separately from a simple lock visit.

Car or excursion transport is easiest from Hrodna, as scheduled services are limited. The site itself is open, while cruises and rentals are paid and seasonal.
