Study the Baroque interior of the Jesuit cathedral
The cathedral defines the scale of Sovetskaya Square from outside, but its strongest feature is the interior: a tall carved altar, side chapels, frescoes and sculpture from the former Jesuit complex. An old working clock remains in the façade tower and is considered among the region’s earliest mechanisms.
Entry is free and the church is active. Visit outside Mass and remain behind the altar barriers. The adjacent Pharmacy Museum deserves a separate stop.
