Hiking in Abastumani, Urema Shelter

Two-day hiking on October 1–2 to Urema Shelter in Abastumani. On the first day, the route is 4 km with an elevation gain of 300 m. On the second day, there is an option for a 20 km circular route or returning the same way, depending on the weather.

Gathering and departure on October 1 at 7:00 from Carrefour. Transfer is by a 19-seat bus, with a maximum of 15 participants.

The cost for a night in the shelter is 30 GEL. Transfer costs 100 GEL for 12 participants. For those following their own program or camping in a tent, the cost is 80 GEL.

Participants should bring belongings for two days, a sleeping bag, weather-appropriate clothing and footwear, flashlights, power banks, a stove, utensils, food, and water.
