Machines of Time and Mechanisms of Memory
Led by Misha, an actor of Gabriadze Theatre, this backstage tour unfolds in several acts, each revealing a different aspect of the theatre’s creative world. Discover the role of childhood and memory, the poetic use of time, the secret art of puppets, and the theatre as a space of ritual and healing. Misha demonstrates the poetic devices and mechanical tricks used by Rezo Gabriadze and shows how the theatre’s puppets, including some of its famous characters, come to life.
The experience is intended for anyone curious about theatre, imagination, memory, storytelling, and the hidden life of things. No prior knowledge of Gabriadze’s work is required. The tour lasts one hour and is available in Georgian, English, and Russian. Children under 12 are not admitted.
