DOC Screenings International Documentary Film Festival — 8th Season
The 8th season of DOC Screenings presents an international documentary program at Art Cinema in Tbilisi. The listed films include FLAYERS, a 10-minute wordless film observing vultures in flight; THE THREE MUSKETEERS OF GEORGIA, a 50-minute documentary about Irma, Gvantsa and Nina, Georgian women with disabilities who train in wheelchair fencing and pursue the Paralympic Games; and THE NETWORKS: ART + FISHING + COMMUNITY, a 51-minute film about an artist collaborating with fishermen in Gloucester, an American fishing port facing decline.
The final lineup and running order may change. Audience members serve as the jury, with every guest invited to vote for the Festival Winner. Films are shown in their original languages with English, Georgian and Russian subtitles provided according to the audience.
The festival takes place September 30–October 2, 2026, at 16:00 each day. Each evening lasts approximately two hours. Venue: Art Cinema, 36 Dzmebi Zubalashvilebi Street, Tbilisi, near Metro Rustaveli. Tickets cost 15 GEL and are limited.
