DOC Screenings International Documentary Film Festival — 8th Season
DOC Screenings returns for its 8th season with three evenings of international documentary cinema at Art Cinema in Tbilisi. The programme includes Flayers, a 10-minute wordless film following vultures above a cliff; The Three Musketeers of Georgia, a 50-minute portrait of three Georgian women with disabilities pursuing the Paralympic Games through wheelchair fencing; and The Networks: Art + Fishing + Community, a 51-minute film about an artist, fishermen and a community in Gloucester, the oldest fishing port in America.
The final line-up and running order may change. Every guest is part of the jury: audience votes determine the Festival Winner, with filmmakers from six countries awaiting the verdict.
Films are screened in their original languages, with subtitles in English, Georgian and Russian provided according to the audience.
