Ian Munoz Quartet

In August, the Tatuzza stage welcomes the quartet of saxophonist Ian Munoz — a Miami-based musician and Juilliard School jazz graduate inspired by Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, and John Coltrane.

Joining him are bassist Ahmed Macklemore (Detroit, Oberlin Conservatory, Juilliard) and drummer Matthew Lee (New Jersey, Juilliard). All three represent a new generation of American jazz artists blending tradition with a modern musical vision.

The concert promises to be rich, technically and emotionally vibrant, just as jazz should be in the intimate setting of a club.
