Consonance Music and Dance Film Festival - 8th Edition

Consonance is an international festival showcasing music and dance cinema through a curated selection of 17 films from 13 countries, including award-nominated and world premiere works. The festival presents diverse formats such as hand-drawn animation, music videos, documentaries, and choreography designed for the camera. Stories range from Schumann's alter egos battling for Clara's attention through dance, to Argentinean tango ink drawings, 1920s nightclub scenes, and young Havana musicians finding melody in art. The audience actively participates by voting for their favorite film, determining the festival winner. Films are shown in their original languages with subtitles available in English, Georgian, and Russian to accommodate all viewers. The event takes place at Art Cinema in Tbilisi on September 17 and 18, 2026, starting at 16:00 each day, with each screening lasting about an hour. Tickets cost 15 GEL and are limited due to venue capacity, so advance booking is recommended.
