Anuta Vyazemskaya Snauart Poetry Evening: Poems, “Letter to Kim” and “Echo of Protests” (18+)

Tue, Aug 11 · 19:30 Auditoria

A poetry evening at “Auditorium” where poetry, cinema, and sociology merge into a single statement about the boundaries between intimate experience and public mechanisms.

Anuta will read her old and new poems, translations of Flemish and Iranian-Dutch authors, as well as texts by other poets important to her.

The evening’s program includes video art with English subtitles:
• “Letter to Kim”: a documentary video essay addressed to the spouse. On the verge of divorce, the author turns to ten years of shared archives to draw a personal conclusion about a marriage realized as an artistic project.
• “Echo of Protests” (a project for Amnesty International): a perspective on the violation of the right to peaceful protest in Europe through dialogues of objects located in the liminal space of the distant future.

The program will conclude with an open conversation: there will be time for questions to reflect together on what was heard and seen.
