MARO - Choreographic Puppet Performance

MARO is a choreographic-puppet performance by the physical theatre company Hoi, winners of the Biennale College. Presented at Tumanishvili Film Actors Theatre, it is directed and choreographed by Tata Tavadishvili and Tato Geliashvili, featuring Mirian Kokhreidze and Nino Nozadze. The performance draws from the diary of Maro Makashvili, a young Georgian patriot, to reflect on the true essence of Georgian identity and the fight for freedom beyond rhetoric. This artistic work combines choreography and puppet theatre to address cultural values and national pride, realized fully under Biennale College guidelines.
