Film Screening and Discussion: Documentary Films from “Mediazona”

There will be a screening of two documentary films by the independent studio razrez, created with the participation of “Mediazona.” After the screening, an open discussion will take place with experts — ecologists, journalists, and activists. The films focus on humane treatment of animals, volunteering, and the consequences of technical disasters.

Program:

“Dog Flight” — about volunteers who rescue stray dogs from Russian regions where their capture and euthanasia are legalized, relocating the animals to safe places.

“The Last Camp” — about the aftermath of the sinking of the “Volgoneft” tankers in the Black Sea, when the coast from the Kerch Strait to Anapa was covered with oil.

The screening and discussion will be held in Russian. Admission is free; donations are welcome — all funds will be directed to the organization dog.org.ge.
