Karavai. Concert by Ivan Kirchuk

Ivan Kirchuk's concert is dedicated to Belarusian wedding traditions and folklore. The program includes songs that were sung at our ancestors' weddings, as well as a showcase of folk instruments: dudka, ocarina, zhaleika, gusli, lyra, and duda. Ivan Kirchuk, who collected songs during ethnographic expeditions across various regions of Belarus, will present part of his material from the albums “Spadchyna,” “Varazhbit,” and “Nekrut.” The program will be interesting for young people planning to start a family and for everyone who respects Belarusian traditions and culture. All participants will have the opportunity to try an authentic wedding karavai.
