Lecture on Leo Tolstoy

A series of lectures on writers' biographies is taking place in Batumi.

On Tuesday, July 21, the second meeting dedicated to Leo Tolstoy will be held.

Topics to be discussed:
• Is it true that Tolstoy refused the Nobel Prize?
• Should one confess their escapades to their wife before marriage?
• How was Tolstoy excommunicated from the church?
• From which list are the main characters of "War and Peace"?
• Which main director portrayed Tolstoy in film?

The lecture will be given by Vitaly Kibitlevsky (@gid_poet), a poet and tour guide with 10 years of experience, author of articles and lectures on Georgian history and writers' biographies.
