HIKARI HONDA JAPANESE FOLK MUSIC CONCERT

Hikari Honda is a Japanese contemporary folk singer-songwriter blending nostalgic Japanese folk melodies with the spirit of Western folk tradition. His songs are intimate, honest reflections on life, memory, and the quiet strength of ordinary people.

A former journalist, Hikari turned to music as a way to express what cannot always be put into words. His performances create a space where music becomes a universal language, understood beyond the boundaries of country and culture.

The concert will be presented in an intimate acoustic format. The program features original songs, Japanese folk classics, and beloved compositions from Studio Ghibli films.

The concert will be presented in two sets with a 15-minute intermission.
