On September 11, the Tbilisi State Opera and Ballet Theatre hosts an Opera Gala dedicated to Vano Sarajishvili and Sandro Inashvili, two foundational figures in Georgian opera. The event features outstanding opera arias from works like “Abesalom and Ether,” “Daisy,” and “Carmen,” combined with theatrical episodes, live narration by co-author Nikoloz Tsulukidze, and unique archival materials. The gala explores the artists' friendship, stage successes, and their lasting impact on Georgian vocal art. Performers include soloists Ketevan Kemoklidze, Kote Kipiani, Giorgi Lomiseli, and others, alongside the Ensemble “Erisioni” and actors. The creative team includes director Koko Roinishvili and musical director Levan Jagaev. Note that latecomers will not be admitted until the first interval, dress code excludes shorts, and children under 6 are only allowed at day performances.
