Tbilisi International Ballet Festival 2026

Founded in 2017, the Tbilisi International Ballet Festival is held at the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre under artistic director Nina Ananiashvili. The 2026 festival, running from July 5 to 19, showcases the State Ballet of Georgia, renowned Georgian dancers abroad, and the legendary Pina Bausch's Tanztheater Wuppertal company. Important notes: latecomers will not be admitted until the first interval; a dress code is mandatory (shorts are prohibited); children under 6 years old are allowed only at day performances. The festival offers a rich cultural experience celebrating classical ballet and international dance excellence.
