Tbilisi Ballet Festival 2026

The International Ballet Festival, founded in 2017 and held at the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre, returns for its seventh edition from July 5 to 19, 2026. Artistic director Nina Ananiashvili leads the festival, which showcases the State Ballet of Georgia alongside world ballet stars, Georgian dancers working internationally, and the legendary Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch company. Important notes for attendees: latecomers will not be admitted until the first interval, a dress code is mandatory (shorts are prohibited), and children under 6 years old are allowed only at day performances.
