Hiking to Levitana Lake and Mount Jamjamta

A one-day route to Levitana Lake and Mount Jamjamta located at the border of Shida Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti regions. Participants will travel to the starting point by Mitsubishi Delica, hike about 10 km with an elevation gain of 900 m, and ascend to the 2380 m summit of Jamjamta.

The program includes hiking through forests, alpine meadows, and mountain trails, a picnic with snacks and tea, and a visit to the Ateni Sioni Church on the return.

Start at 8:00 AM, finish around 9:00 PM. Meeting point will be confirmed upon registration, near the bicycle area. For hiking, comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are needed, at least 1 liter of water per person, a backpack, raincoat, and sun protection.
